Are you at risk?
Story-At-a-Glance
Matt Cook here, and there’s one condition that many men over 50 are prone to…
And this condition is relatively harmless — or so we thought…
Now, new evidence from more than 15 studies shows that this common condition puts men at huge risk of suffering heart attacks or stroke…
4x more likely, in fact!
So please pay close attention… this could save your life…

Warning – this makes you 4x more likely to suffer heart attacks and stroke
Varicella-zoster is a common virus that causes chickenpox, mostly in children and young people.
The varicella-zoster virus can be reactivated after the first infection.
When the virus is reactivated, it causes shingles.
Shingles shows up as a rash on the face or side of the body.
It is usually itchy and can lead to extreme nerve pain and other symptoms.
A shingles attack also causes inflammation in different parts of the body.
Scientists have discovered that information from shingles can increase the risk of stroke or serious cardiac events by up to 400%.
The review of human studies was carried out at the College of Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University, Kaohsiung 807, Taiwan.
The results were published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine.
Shingles is well known to cause a rash and painful lesions. But it can also cause inflammation of the blood vessels.
This inflammation of the blood vessels can cause ischemia — restriction of blood flow and oxygen which can lead to stroke.
Alternately, the inflammation can lead to hemorrhaging — bursting and leaking of the blood vessels.
“Shingles can also increase incident hemorrhagic or ischemic complications by causing inflammatory vasculopathy.”
These problems of the blood vessels can lead to serious problems including stroke and heart attack.
Researchers have already identified a link between these health problems and shingles outbreaks.
“Emerging epidemiological and clinical data recognizes association between shingles and subsequent acute strokes or heart attacks.”
This research was designed to analyze the existing research on shingles and the risk of cerebrovascular problems like stroke and heart attack.
The analysts conducted searches of the electronic medical databases for all of the best research on the topic.
They found 15 studies which looked at shingles and cerebrovascular health problems including:
…ischemic stroke, haemorrhagic stroke, transient ischemic attack, heart attack, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease.
The researchers extracted all of the statistical data from these studies.
This information was then combined to see the relationship between shingles and cerebrovascular problems.
Shingles was associated with a massive increase in the risk of cerebrovascular events.
People who had suffered shingles outbreaks were up to 4 times more likely to experience a cerebrovascular event like stroke or heart attack.
“Individuals exposed to shingles had a 1.3 to 4 fold increased risk of cerebrovascular events.”
Risk was increased in both young and old, but the risk was greater for younger people.
The increase in risk of cerebrovascular disease was most evident within one year of a shingles outbreak.
“Higher risks were noted among younger patients (age < 40 years) within one year after a shingles episode.”
An increased risk of stroke and cardiac events was identified in numerous studies included in the analysis.
“Several studies showed that the development of shingles increased the risks of stroke, transient ischemic attack, and acute cardiac events.”
Antiviral treatments which treat shingles and other similar diseases come with risks and side effects.
Because of the risks associated with these treatments, doctors are quite conservative in recommending them.
But studies like this show that there are serious risks from under-recommending antiviral treatments.
Doctors and researchers may have to recalculate the risk to benefit ratio of antiviral treatments.
It’s particularly important to treat a shingles flair early.
“The association between shingles infection and cardiovascular events requires further studies to establish the optimal antiviral treatment to reduce shingles associated vascular risk.”
In the last few years, researchers have discovered that a closely related virus may be a major cause of Alzheimer’s disease.
That virus being herpes simplex virus 1.
The findings argue for more aggressive treatment of some very common viruses.
—-Important Message From Matt Cook About Fighting Viruses—-
Believe it or not, the flu and ‘rona jabs are only 14% effective at preventing flus and viruses…
…that’s why I’m using my own Virus protocol that is working for me in two ways:
- Helping my body naturally resist viruses on its own…
- and by counteracting the cytokines that are responsible for terrible symptoms and even death if I do get sick
I like to think of my Virus Protocol like a limiter on my car engine.
The limiter won’t let me rev the engine so high that it breaks the engine…
Well, same thing with my Protocol.
I believe it will rev up my immunity — but that it won’t let my immunity get so out of hand that it kills me with the dreaded cytokine storm.
And when Jodi and I recently got ‘rona Delta variant, this is what made our recovery very easy…
Here’s my virus protocol — yours free if you want it
