And it not only kills bacteria that cause infection…it also lowers inflammatory TLR4 receptors in the body…
Story-At-a-Glance
Matt Cook here, and bacteria and inflammation go together in the body…
That’s why all disease and illness starts with inflammation.
So if we can find a way to stop widespread inflammation and control it, we can fight off so many different illnesses and infections.
And now I’m discovering that it may be as easy as eating this one food…

Prevent and reverse type 2 diabetes
- I took BP meds for over 20 years and now none.
- I had chronic low T levels and at one time was taking injections every other week (got sick of the injections so quit taking them) now T level has normalized.
- I have chronic joint pain from osteoarthritis that I was taking copious amounts of NSAIDs before and now I hardly ever need them.
- I purchased this system with the hope that I could pass it along to my clients. It is a powerful all-natural approach not found anywhere else.
This short video takes you through the system so you can begin right now.

This food is a powerful antibiotic without side effects
Many infectious viral diseases lead to secondary bacterial infections.
These secondary bacterial infections cause an immune response – which increases inflammation.
For people who succumb to severe illness and death from these infections, it is the body’s overactive inflammatory immune system which is the main problem.
Healthy people produce a lot of inflammation rapidly in response to infection…
…but they also ramp down inflammation rapidly too, before it causes the body severe damage.
On top of this, we all carry masses of bacteria inside our bodies.
Any type of severe illness can cause these bacteria to spread right throughout the body…
…leading to an inflammatory illness known as sepsis.
This viral/bacterial inflammatory response is one of the greatest actual causes of death in humans and animals.
There are many things we can use to help our body keep this inflammation under control – including citrus fruits.
These cell and animal experiments were carried out at the Third Military Medical University in Chongqing, China. The paper was published in Scientific Reports.
TLR 4 is a cell receptor.
One of its main jobs is detecting bacterial infections.
TLR 4 is particularly vigilant when it comes to something known as endotoxin.
Endotoxin is part of a bacteria which is ever-present in the human body.
When endotoxin leaks from the gut, it sets off the TLR 4 alarm system.
This leads to immune system activation and inflammation.
Excessive inflammation caused by TLR 4 over activation is a major threat to our health.
“Excessive activation of the TLR4 signalling pathway is critical for inflammation-associated disorders, while negative regulators play key roles in restraining TLR4 from over-activation.”
“Negative regulators” of TLR 4 things which can regulate the inflammatory response.
These things could literally save your life by minimizing possibly lethal inflammation in the body.
In these experiments, researchers looked at the effect of naringenin on TLR 4 signaling.
Naringenin is a compound contained in citrus fruits – particularly in peels of oranges – it is a well known anti-inflammatory.
“Naringenin is a citrus flavonoid with remarkable anti-inflammatory activity, but the mechanisms underlying its TLR 4 signalling are less clear.”
In cell experiments, the researchers found that naringenin limited inflammation caused by TLR 4 activation.
“In endotoxin stimulated cells, naringenin suppressed the production of inflammatory proteins and nitric oxide.”
After taking a deep look at the biochemistry of naringenin and inflammation in cells, the researchers moved on to experiment in rodents.
The researchers created a situation where the animals suffered from endotoxemia – systemic poisoning of bacteria which produce endotoxin.
Remember that endotoxin is one of the primary activators of TLR 4 related inflammation.
Animals given supplementary naringenin had less inflammation.
Naringenin lowered death rates in rodents with potentially lethal bacterial infections.
“In animal endotoxemia models, naringenin ameliorates pro-inflammatory reactions and improves survival.”
The researchers showed that this citrus-based compound can have serious, real-world effects on disease – even preventing death.
It does this by dampening the inflammatory response to bacterial endotoxin caused by the TLR 4 receptor.
Many cases of death from infectious disease are caused by the body’s inability to restrain inflammation, rather than the infectious agent per se.
Other cell experiments have shown that naringenin also has an antiviral effect.
There are numerous other compounds in citrus fruits which are also anti-inflammatory and antiviral.
This is one of the reasons why I believe orange juice and marmalade are exceptional foods.
Marmalade contains the highest amounts of naringenin and similar compounds because these compounds are concentrated in the peel of citrus fruits.
Most people could benefit from drinking some pure orange juice or eating some high quality, clean marmalade every day.
But you do need to watch out for unnecessary additives added to orange juice and marmalade…
Some of these additives can cancel out the health-giving effects of natural citrus fruit compounds.
—-Important Message From Matt Cook About the Powers of Vitamin C—-
How I’m using Super C to lower and control inflammation
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps our body get rid of harmful free radicals.
Harmful free radicals damage the cells and tissues, and trigger inflammation in the body.
And inflammation leads to so many health problems… like heart disease, autoimmune diseases, even cancer…
So controlling inflammation is key if you want to live a healthy life free from chronic disease.
And fortunately, vitamin C can help with that.
But I’m taking it a step further… I’m using a different kind of vitamin C that I call Super C.
Super C may be a breakthrough in vitamin C because it lasts much longer in the body and can cross the blood brain barrier — see why you want to add Super C to your supplement stack
