Is this one vitamin the cure for Cushing’s?

Cushing’s disease is a tricky condition where a tumor in the pituitary gland leads to increased production of a hormone called ACTH.

This elevated ACTH causes a massive increase in cortisol.

This leads to high blood pressure, abdominal obesity, a round red face, muscle weakness, bone weakness, acne and much more.

It can be a tricky condition to treat.

But research has shown that supplemental vitamin A can help to reverse the disease processes inside the pituitary gland – leading to a significant improvement in the condition in many people.

The human research was carried out at The University of Milan, Istituto Auxologico Italiano. The paper was published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.

The authors of this study were looking for a solution to Cushing’s disease.

Cushing’s disease is a pituitary problem which increases cortisol, and causes lots of health problems and a significant amount of deaths.

“Cushing’s disease, i.e. cortisol excess due to an ACTH-secreting pituitary adenoma, is a rare disorder with considerable morbidity and mortality but no satisfactory medical treatment as yet.”

They were working off of previous research that showed a metabolite of vitamin A had a surprising effect on the pituitary gland.

“Experimental data have recently shown that retinoic acid restrains ACTH secretion by tumoral corticotropes.”

Corticotropes are pituitary cells which produce ACTH.

This excessive ACTH is the primary trigger for Cushing’s disease.

So, the researchers wondered whether vitamin A supplementation could help people suffering with the condition

“Our objective was to evaluate the efficacy and safety profile of retinoic acid treatment in patients with Cushing’s disease.”

The participants were given retinoic acid – which is made from vitamin A in the body.

“Seven patients with Cushing’s disease (3 men, 4 women) were started on 10 mg retinoic acid daily and up to 80 mg daily for 6-12 months.”

The researchers tracked all of the major blood markers and symptoms of Cushing’s disease, as well as treatments being used.

“ACTH, urinary free cortisol, and serum cortisol as well as clinical features of hypercortisolism and possible side effects of retinoic acid were evaluated at baseline, during retinoic acid administration, and after ‘treatment’ withdrawal.”

5/7 participants experienced significantly decreased levels of cortisol in the urine – a very good sign.

Urinary cortisol was normalized in 3 out of 7 patients – this is extremely unlikely to happen without intervention.

People with Cushing’s disease rarely see this type of improvement with no known cause.

“A marked decrease in urinary free cortisol levels was observed in five patients; mean urinary free cortisol levels on retinoic acid were 22-73% of baseline values and normalization in urinary free cortisol was achieved in three patients.”

There was an initial decrease in ACTH.

“Plasma ACTH decreased in the first month of treatment and then returned to pretreatment levels in responsive patients whereas no clear-cut pattern could be detected for serum cortisol.”

Many of the outward signs of the disease were improved for many people over the course of the study.

“Blood pressure, glycemia, and signs of hypercortisolism, e.g. body weight and facial plethora, were ameliorated to a variable extent on treatment.”

The study showed a significant benefit from vitamin A supplementation in 70% of people suffering with Cushing’s disease.

It is not a magic bullet, but it can be beneficial in this tricky condition.

“Long-term treatment with retinoic acid proved beneficial and well tolerated in five of seven patients with Cushing’s disease. This represents a novel, promising approach to medical treatment in Cushing’s disease.”

It’s important to note that there are plant-based supplements which are being marketed as vitamin A.

While it’s true that the body can convert some of these substances into vitamin A…

…the effect is minimal, and these beta-carotenes also inhibit the working of the nutrient.

There is no safe and effective plant-derived vitamin A.

I’m now using Super C, and it’s making regular vitamin C obsolete…

Because the problem with regular vitamin C is that it doesn’t stay in the body long enough…

Your body eliminates it in under 5 minutes (as you can see when you pee) because it’s water soluble.

But my new Super C stays in the bloodstream for HOURS, not minutes.

And more than that, it penetrates and helps cells in the brain, testes and organs.

It is constantly delivering incredible benefits:

  • Making you more immune to sickness (and reducing gut endotoxins, boosting T and shrinking an inflamed prostate)
  • Increasing penile blood flow for better rockiness
  • Reducing inflammation by up to 45%
  • Naturally lowering blood pressure
  • …and a lot more…

Here’s how you can try my Super C for free
