Here’s why I’m eating foods like ice cream and pizza…and my libido and sexual performance are SKYROCKETING…

What I’m eating is RAISING my metabolism!

So the foods I eat are rolling back my libido and performance to what I remember experiencing as a young man.

A low metabolism means lower T levels. And shuts down reproductive success.

What does that mean? The body stops servicing the penis in order to deal with its low metabolism.

Not good!

With a low metabolism, you have a lower body temperature and a lower heart rate. You gain fat without eating much.

And you have a lower sex drive and poor sexual performance.

These are all signs of a low metabolism…

Are scientists giving horse tranquilizer to people?

Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. It affects men much more than women.

Suicide rates in the United States have increased by over 25% in the last 20 years.

According to a new study, ketamine can quickly reduce suicidal ideation…

This has the potential to save many lives.

Suicidal ideation (the urge to commit suicide) is an immediate threat to the life of an individual.

A rapid reduction in suicidal ideation is very difficult to achieve.

That was the focus of this randomised clinical trial using ketamine.

[cmamad id=”14129″ align=”center” tabid=”display-desktop” mobid=”display-desktop” stg=””]

The study subjects were 80 people diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD).

MDD is characterized by at least two weeks of depression and can be associated with low motivation, low energy, and even physical pain that has no obvious cause.

The field of psychiatry has a classification for different levels of the urge to commit suicide.

It’s known as the scale for suicidal ideation (SSI).

All the people included in the trial scored high on this SSI scale. 54% of the participants were taking antidepressants.

The participants were randomly assigned to a treatment of either ketamine or a sedative.

The dosage of ketamine used in this study was relatively low.

The participants were reassessed on the SSI scale 24 hours after treatment.

The study found a significant reduction in suicidal ideation 24 hours after one treatment with ketamine.

“The reduction in suicidal ideation was greater for the ketamine group compared with the midazolam group after 24 hours.”

55% of the group treated with ketamine improved by more than 50% on the SSI.

“The proportion of responders (defined as having a reduction ≥50% in suicidal ideation score) at day one was 55% for the ketamine group and 30% for the sedative group.”

Ketamine treatment also resulted in a reduction in psychological ratings of depression after 24 hours.

“Improvement in depression was greater at day one for the ketamine group compared with the sedative group.”

Ketamine was originally used as an anesthetic. It is relatively safer and milder than other anesthetics.

It does have its risks though: the potential for abuse and addiction are well-known. Overdose is possible.

However, the study found that there are very few side effects from one low dose of ketamine. And the side effects that did not last long.

“…short-lived were the side effects.”

But the beneficial effects of a single dose of ketamine are relatively long-lived.

“Clinical improvement was maintained for up to six weeks with additional optimized standard pharmacotherapy in an uncontrolled follow-up.”

The study showed that ketamine can significantly reduce suicidal ideation, independent of its antidepressant effect.

“Ketamine demonstrated a greater reduction in clinically significant suicidal ideation in depressed patients within 24 hours – compared with a sedative and partially independently of antidepressant effect.”

If used incorrectly, Ketamine is a very dangerous substance. It should only be given by a healthcare professional.

If you think you have a major depressive disorder or if you suffer from suicidal ideation, you must see a professional.

But this ketamine study shows a promising avenue of investigation for a very difficult medical situation.

Ketamine acts on many different neurotransmitters and receptors. And it does it in very complex ways.

Why he has the effects that it does is not yet understood.

If ketamine can be used infrequently – and if addiction and abuse can be avoided – it could turn out to be a life-changing substance for many people.

The very fast-acting nature of ketamine on suicidal ideation may be a huge boon to the fields of medicine and psychiatry.
