This one supplement increases energy production and boosts blood flow

I’m peeing like a racehorse now
I’ve discovered a nutrient backed by clinical research showing it can help 92% of men who are suffering from prostate problems.
So instead of kicking off the sheets and stumbling to the bathroom 3, 4, or even 5 times a night or more…
Instead of standing over the toilet for 10 minutes only to squeeze out a weak trickle…
And instead of failing to rise to the occasion in the bedroom…
You can start to enjoy your life again…

How to use nicotinamide riboside to restore a teenage metabolism
A new study shows that blood pressure and cardiovascular disease are related to energetic metabolism.
The supplement used in the study (nicotinamide riboside) rehabilitates youthful metabolism.
It has now been shown to lower blood pressure in hypertensives and lower the gold standard risk factor for heart disease.
This human study was conducted at the University of Colorado Boulder and it was published in the journal Nature.
The study enrolled men and women between the ages of 55 and 79. In total 30 participants were included.
They were split into two groups of 15 people.
One group received a dietary supplement and the other group received a placebo.
After six weeks the groups switched over. So everyone was tested on the supplement and on the inactive placebo.
The supplement in question is nicotinamide riboside.
Nicotinamide riboside is involved in the transfer of electrons within the cells.
Supplementing nicotinamide riboside could allow cells to produce more energy — an hallmark of youth and the basis of health.
“15 subjects were randomized to placebo for the first 6 weeks of the before crossing over to receive nicotinamide riboside for the remaining 6 weeks.”
The study showed that nicotinamide riboside increased metabolites that improve energy production.
NAD+ and ATP are big players in energetic metabolism — relevant to all healing processes.
“We observed increases in NAD+ and other metabolites involved in the regulation of energy production and metabolism, including ATP.”
The supplement improved metabolism — mimicking that seen in young, healthy people.
“Nicotinamide riboside supplementation effectively stimulates NAD+ metabolism in healthy middle-aged and older men and women.”
Higher energetic metabolism is associated with better health — and the other test results confirmed that.
The study found that supplementation with nicotinamide riboside lowered systolic blood pressure in people with high blood pressure.
“Systolic blood pressure was 9 mmHg lower after supplementation in individuals with elevated (stage 1) hypertension.”
Systolic blood pressure is the first number given in a blood pressure reading.
High systolic blood pressure is a risk factor for heart attack, stroke, congestive heart failure, kidney damage and blindness.
The supplementation regimen did not affect blood pressure in people who began the study with normal blood pressure.
“No change was observed in subjects with initial systolic blood pressure in the normal range.”
The study also conducted an assessment of aortic health — a measure of the stiffness of the important blood vessels. A critical measure of heart health.
Supplementation with nicotinamide riboside improved markers of aortic stiffness — indicating greater heart health from supplementation.
“We observed a trend towards a reduction in pulse wave velocity with supplementation, a strong risk factor for incident cardiovascular events.”
Supplementation with nicotinamide riboside had relatively few side-effects.
It was deemed safe and effective in stimulating youthful metabolism.
“Chronic oral supplementation with nicotinamide riboside is a well-tolerated and effective strategy for stimulating NAD+ metabolism. ”
The authors recommend further investigation into the effects of nicotinamide riboside on blood pressure and heart health.
“The ability of nicotinamide riboside to reduce blood pressure and aortic stiffness, two clinically important risk indicators of cardiovascular function and health, are among the most promising hypotheses to test in a future larger-scale clinical trial.”
The supplement used in this study is patented.
Often, useful supplements are not promoted by the medical establishment because they cannot gain much financial reward (via the patent system).
So they try to engineer another compound that works in the same way as the vitamin but which can be patented.
Nicotinamide riboside works in a way very similar to vitamin B3.
In particular, it is similar to the nicotinamide/niacinamide form of B3 — which is cheap and easily available.
Nicotinamide and niacinamide are two names for the exact same vitamin. Nicotinic acid is a different form of B3.
The authors claimed that they used nicotinamide riboside instead of B3 (niacinamide) for the following reasons:
“Nicotinic acid is associated with undesirable flushing at therapeutic doses and nicotinamide does not reliably activate sirtuins despite raising concentrations of NAD.”
The niacin form of B3 does cause flushing.
But the nicotinamide/niacinamide forms do not cause flushing.
And the claims about sirtuins also seem to be incorrect but more importantly are irrelevant as nicotinamide/niacinamide does raise NAD.
Niacinamide (also called nicotinamide) is just as good as the riboside version, at a fraction of the cost.
That’s what I use, plain niacinamide.
