How to keep cortisol down to prevent cancer

Hormones can have a huge effect on cancer risk.

Stress hormones like cortisol and estrogen are clearly associated with an increase in cancer.

Other hormones like DHEA and progesterone work against these stress hormones.

In theory it should be possible to balance these hormones and reduce cancer risk.

Recently, researchers put this theory to the test.

They found that a mix of DHEA and progesterone slows cancer growth in animals who had cancer transplanted onto their backs.

The experiments were carried out at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia Bulgaria. The results were published in the International Research Journal of Oncology.

The research investigated the effect of a supplement called CortiNon+.

This supplement contains the youthful, anti-stress hormones DHEA and progesterone.

Both of these natural hormones act to oppose cortisol.

Cortisol is associated with advanced aging, weight gain, low testosterone, and cancer risk.

Progesterone also acts against estrogen – an inflammatory hormone very strongly tied to cancer risk.

In recent years we have discovered that cancer is a metabolic and immune disease.

Both of these hormones can greatly improve healthy metabolism.

The ingredients in CortiNon+ also help to rejuvenate the thymus gland. This gland is essential to the function of the immune system.

The thymus gland tends to shrivel with aging – but it can be rejuvenated with these hormones (and also with adequate zinc).

This gland produces immune factors which destroy cancerous cells. This action plays a role in cancer risk.

A healthier thymus plays a large role in preventing and slowing cancer.

These experiments were carried out in hamsters. The hamsters had cancerous cells transplanted onto their backs.

It is an extremely effective method of developing cancer in the lab.

In the experiments, some animals were given the hormonal supplement 7 days before they had cancers transplanted onto their backs.

“Two schemes of experimental oral formulation of antitumor therapy were applied. One started 7 days before tumor transplantation.”

Other animals started on the supplement on the same day they were given the cancerous transplant.

The final group of animals were given cancer but never received any CortiNon+ supplement.

“One group started treatment simultaneously with the tumor transplant. The control 3rd group did not receive any oral supplementations.”

The study found a remarkable protective effect from the supplement.

“The results demonstrated protective antitumor effect of CortiNon+.”

The growth of the cancerous tumors was much slower in the animals which had been given the anti-stress hormones contained in the supplement.

“The antitumor effect was expressed by decrease of transplantability and lowering lethality, inhibition of tumor growth and increase of survival rate.”

The hormones improved all of the most important outcomes.

The animals who started treatment 7 days before receiving the cancer transplant fared better than those who started treatment on the same day as the transplant.

Showing it is important to keep these hormones optimized all the time.

“The efficacy of the experimental therapy was more pronounced when it was started seven days before transplantation of tumor cells.”

The researchers concluded that these hormones could be beneficial in the treatment and prevention of this type of cancer.

“These results suggest that CortiNon+ is a promising ‘chemical’ candidate for the treatment of hematological malignancies.”

Research showing the benefits of these hormones, progesterone and the DHEA, dates back many decades.

I think that they have been overlooked to some extent because they are not under patent and are relatively cheap.

Optimizing these hormones can have massive benefits for your health.

But it is also possible to take improper amounts of DHEA and progesterone and develop unwanted side effects.

Things like DHEA and progesterone can definitely help (and I talk about them all the time)

But the real KEY… is getting your cortisol under control.

And the good news is, it’s a LOT easier than you might think.
