Higher blood pressure = Longer life? Huh?

In this study, results were quite plain that higher blood pressure leads to a longer life expectancy:

This is not the only study showing that higher blood pressure is actually a benefit as you age.

There are many such studies – I’ve shown you a few others in the past.

The fact is if your blood pressure is lower than 170 or 180/90, and you’re in your 70s or 80s, you’re doing just fine.

But if you take these blood pressure chemicals, you’re probably not doing so fine.

These blood pressure chemicals kill erections – and you may not even need them for your blood pressure…

For men who are “half rocky” (becoming full)

Women have had options for birth control for the last 50 years or so that haven’t been available to men at all.

We’re pretty much stuck with condoms (high failure rate) or vasectomies (irreversible) as our main options for not becoming a baby daddy.

It would be nice to have a little more control…

Now…I’m not sure that hormonal birth control options like the pill or IUDs are particularly great for women, but at least they have that choice to prevent pregnancies. Guys don’t.

The thing is, scientists have been working on a male pill for decades but haven’t really come up with much.

But there’s new research that looks like it might eventually change the scope and availability of contraception for men.

New non-hormonal options for male reproductive control…

There’s a fair amount of hoopla around this…

But I’ve got to tell you, I’m always going to be cautious about anything that screws with my sperm or my male hormones in general.

A lot of times these things cause more problems than it’s worth.

But this new compound – EP055 – is really interesting.

They are testing it on monkeys, one of our closest genetic cousins.

This new treatment skips the part about suppressing hormones in men (which is great because that’s a pretty bad idea)…
[cmamad id=”16381″ align=”center” tabid=”display-desktop” mobid=”display-desktop” stg=””]

Instead, it directly addresses the issue of sperm going to where they want to go by limiting their normal mobility.

“A compound called EP055 binds to sperm proteins to significantly slow the overall mobility of the sperm without affecting hormones, making EP055 a potential ‘male pill’ without side effects.”

This is fascinating because it’s an entirely different approach to the current drugs that are in the trial market right now.

Most of those work in a way that is very similar to how birth control pills work for women…

By messing with hormones.

“There are hormonal drugs in clinical trials that target the production of sperm, but these affect the natural hormones in men much like female contraceptives affect hormones in women.”

This new treatment has been shown to be effective – at least at high doses when given to monkeys…

It takes away the mobility of sperm.

The basic idea is that if the sperm can’t get to the egg then they can’t make a baby happen.

In fact, the treatment is so good that the study found NO indication of normal sperm mobility.

“During the study, thirty hours following a high-dose intravenous infusion of EP055 in male rhesus macaques…researchers in the Oregon National Primate Research Center at OHSU in Portland, Oregon, found no indication of normal sperm motility.

Interestingly enough, the scientists saw absolutely no physical side effects in the monkeys who were given the most treatments.

That’s really unusual.

And it shows that this treatment may be promising for preventing pregnancies without a bunch of side effects that guys do not want.

“Further, no physical side effects were observed.”

This new male pill treatment looks like it’s also going to be completely reversible.

This is important because we already have a permanent solution with the vasectomy.

And many people want to prevent pregnancies early in their lives and leave fatherhood as a possibility for later.

“At 18 days post-infusion, all macaques showed signs of complete recovery, suggesting that the EP055 compound is indeed reversible.

Right now though, this technology is very new and only in the testing stages.

If it manages to get past the testing stages it probably still won’t be available for men to use for another five or six years.

And, frankly, with what it does to your body I would wait at least 10 years after that to try it – if it gets approved.

By then we might know if there are any long-term side effects. New drugs always scare me a little bit.

For now, guys, we’ll just have to do what we’ve been doing for the last 50 years…

Work with your partner to make sure she’s on a contraceptive that has an acceptable level of risk…

Use condoms (always a good idea with a new partner anyway)…

Or get a vasectomy.

Until there is a male pill proven not to have a bunch of side effects, those are really our best options.

For men who are “half rocky” — becoming full

I know this feeling well…

…when you start getting an erection but it stops halfway.

It’s only half as hard, half as long, half as big, and half as sensitive as it should be.

That’s what desensitization does. It cuts everything in half and you’re left with even less and less of everything over time.

But I found this simple solo activity that makes sure that my penis gets fully rigid, fully engorged, and 100% hard every time…

Here is the solo activity that fixes things down there and returns sensitivity, size, and sexual stamina to 100%.

Check out this solo activity that fixes things down there.
