Butter or oil — which is the killer lipid?

Most men are told that butter and other animal fats are unhealthy…

And that vegetable oils are better for the heart and weight loss.

But what if this is actually completely wrong?

What if we’re all slowly being poisoned by the wrong advice…

What if that’s the reason why heart disease, prostate problems, diabetes, and even Alzheimer’s are so common now…

…maybe we’re all consuming one deadly killer lipid all the time without even knowing it…

———-

This is the type of healthy fat men SHOULD be eating

There were no vegetable oils in sight a couple of decades ago.

Even fast food chains used to fry their food in animal fat (tallow)

But then something happened, and all of them switched to vegetable oils in the ‘90s…

What happened? Big Agriculture stepped in.

You know what else has changed?

People’s health and well-being.

If you look at the data or even the pictures, you won’t find many overweight people…

…or people dying of heart attacks, or people balding rapidly – you name it.

You won’t.

Do you think it’s a coincidence?

I certainly don’t.

Vegetable oils are oils that are extracted from various plants such as soybean, canola, sunflower, peanut, and corn.

They contain huge amounts of unsaturated fats (PUFAs) and serve virtually no nutritional value.

Here’s the thing: they are EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY for you.

I talk about this a lot, but this might be the MOST important thing if you want to become healthier, so…

You won’t see that in the mainstream media, because all they talk about is how vegetable oils contain no cholesterol and saturated fats…

So they must be healthier.

I think that’s ridiculous.

How do they explain the rapid increase in obesity, cardiovascular health, and other stuff?

They really don’t bother because ordinary people don’t even read the ingredient label.

Well, my reader, you are not ordinary.

You should be reading ingredient labels, and you should avoid toxic vegetable oils like the plague.

That is if you want to have a healthy heart and a healthy body.

Let’s see today’s study.

This study was conducted at the Henan University of Chinese Medicine. It was published in Current Problems in Cardiology.

The researchers aimed to find out which type of cooking oil is better for the heart health of elderly people.

They looked at 2 types of cooking oil: vegetable (sesame) oil and lard/other animal fats.

They used the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS) survey to collect data.

The survey was conducted in 2018 and included 15,874 people who were over 65 years old.

Then they used statistical methods to see if there was a relationship between cooking oil types and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD).

It’s a deadly disease that blocks the arteries.

Out of all the people in the survey, just a small number used animal fats for cooking.

The researchers found that the people who used vegetable oil had MORE heart disease rates compared to those who used animal fat.

“Of the 15,874 elderly people, 13,709 cooked with vegetable/gingili oil, with an average age [SD] of 84.47 [11.51] years; 1533 cooked with lard/other animal fat oils, with an average age [SD] of 85.90 [11.72] years. 3918 of those who cooked with vegetable/gingili oil had ASCVD, and 249 of those who cooked with lard/other animal fat oils had ASCVD.”

Specifically, 31.68% of vegetable oil users had ASCVD, while only 17.46% of animal fat users had it.

They also found that people who used vegetable oils had a HIGHER RISK of that disease.

“Compared with lard/other animal fat users, the multivariate-adjusted model indicated that vegetable oil/sesame oil users were significantly associated with a higher risk of ASCVD”

The risk was 2.19 times higher for them.

These researchers recommend people cook with lard and other animal fat if they want to have a healthy heart.

“Our study found that cooking with lard/other animal fat oil is more beneficial to cardiovascular health in older Chinese. Dietary guidelines should seriously consider the health effects of substituting vegetable/gingili oil for lard/other animal fat oil for different populations.”

Just like my recommendation and the exact opposite of mainstream media.

Animal fat is not the enemy.

It’s those toxic vegetable and seed oils – with the exception of coconut and high-quality olive oil, of course.
