Bulletproofing the prostate with this 1 nutrient

The medical establishment tells us that male hormones cause prostate problems.

But anyone reading the medical literature carefully would come to a different conclusion.

In truth it seems that estrogen, serotonin, and toxic bacteria are the triggers for prostate problems

…problems from excessive urination to prostate cancer.

Researchers in Greece looked at the dietary habits of men with and without a history of prostate cancer.

They found that men who ate more polyunsaturated seed oils were far more likely to have prostate cancer.

This is because these seed oils cause permeability.

Permeability means that bacteria leak from the gut and inflame the body, including the prostate.

Polyunsaturated vegetable oils also cause increased estrogen and serotonin – hormones which are closely linked to prostate problems.

The human research was carried out at the University of Athens Medical School in Greece. The findings were published in the International Journal of Cancer.

The research was designed to identify any possible nutritional cause of prostate cancer.

The scientists recruited over 300 men who had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

They were compared against a similar number of men who had no history of any prostate problems.

“The nutritional cause of prostate cancer was evaluated through a case-control study that included 300 patients with prostate cancer and 240 controls without prostate symptoms.”

The men with no history of prostate problems were being treated for minor health problems in the same hospital as the men with prostate cancer.

All of the men carried out detailed food questionnaires which looked at their historical eating patterns.

The researchers combed through all of that data to see if there are any significant patterns.

The research showed some weak links with half a dozen different food groups.

But the only strong link they found was an increased risk of prostate cancer in men who ate more polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Polyunsaturated fatty acids mostly come from added vegetable oils in the diet.

Vegetable oils were the main risk for prostate cancer.

“Among added fats, seed oils were significantly positively associated with prostate cancer risk.”

Seed oils, vegetable oils, polyunsaturated fatty acids – these are all the same thing.

(Fish oil is also a polyunsaturated fat.)

These fats weaken the structure of the cells which separate different parts of the body.

Most importantly, they weaken the gut lining – allowing inflammatory bacteria to circulate around the body.

These bacteria then cause prostate inflammation, which seems to lead to an increased risk of prostate cancer.

On top of this, these fats make people produce more estrogen and serotonin…

2 hormones which elevate prostate cancer risk significantly.

This is one of many reasons why I believe people should significantly reduce their intake of vegetable oil.

Some nutrients can limit the harm caused by these vegetable oils. The most important one is vitamin E.

Vitamin E helps to prevent the increase in estrogen and serotonin caused by vegetable oils.

So it was no surprise to me to see that vitamin E was associated with a lower risk of prostate cancer.

Vitamin E protects against damage from polyunsaturated fats – and it was associated with a lower risk of prostate cancer.

“Focusing on nutrients, rather than foods, vitamin E was negatively associated with prostate cancer.”

It’s good to eat a diet which is very low in seed oils…

…and if you do end up eating some occasionally, a vitamin E supplement can help offset the harm.

The reality is that prostate cancer is not caused by male hormones, and genes have a minimal effect.

Prostate cancer, like many other diseases, is triggered by vegetable oils.
