I’ve been talking to you quite a bit lately about nitric oxide and how dangerous it is.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that nitric oxide causes leaky arteries and blood vessels.
It’s also a culprit in faster aging, fibrosis in the organs, and calcification and stiffening of the aorta and heart.
So here’s a very simple way to prevent nitric oxide from causing this type of damage.
What people don’t realize is that when a person has an injury, their body goes into shock.
During shock, the body secretes a high amount of nitric oxide.
Nitric oxide is like an ambulance — it’s a last resort effort to prevent death by keeping tissues going.
But nitric oxide also has a very dark side to it.
So during shock, the blood vessels are very leaky, and people often die.
However, because shock is such an extreme example of the damage nitric oxide causes, it’s useful to study.
These scientists study shock, and they found easy ways to lower nitric oxide.
Simply giving someone a little bit of niacinamide will lower nitric oxide.

Niacinamide is a vitamin, it’s also called nicotinamide or vitamin B3.
There is also the “non-flesh” (inorganic) version called niacin or nicotinic acid.
These are the kinds that you take that make you flush and feel really hot.
When you’re sick or just feeling poorly, it’s because your body is dealing with a high amount of bacteria and endotoxins.
The endotoxins are often coming from your gut.
Then your body produces nitric oxide in an attempt to fight endotoxins.
But the nitric oxide itself is quite toxic.
It’s not as bad as the foreign shock.
But if you’re feeling poorly or have a flu type symptoms, chances are it’s from high endotoxins triggering high nitric oxide levels.
So now here’s a simple way of counteracting that nitric oxide.
You’ll feel better, and you’ll avoid something worse.
This is a simple study.
The researchers administered large amounts of endotoxin to rats.
They also gave niacinamide to some of the rats.
These rats survived the shock from the endotoxins much better than the rats that did not have the niacinamide.
So that proves that niacinamide or nicotinamide protects against high nitric oxide levels.
It can make you feel better, or it could even save your life.
Don’t underestimate niacinamide or nicotinamide.
I have found it can be even more potent when you take it with a bit of taurine.
Take 100 mg of taurine and 100 mg of nicotinamide or niacinamide, and that is all that you need.
You can increase the dosage up to 500 mg of each two or three times a day.
And if you’re really sick, that may be what you want to do.
Be prepared for feeling kind of lethargic and sedated.
You may not be in good shape to do much of anything else but sleep.
This stuff is pretty powerful.
But if you have a bad infection, it may be a lifesaver.
Always talk to your doctor if you feel sick or before you take anything like this.
