Gut problems? It may be your dishwasher…

Matt Cook here, and IBS, IBD, GERD, diarrhea, constipation, and leaky gut are some common gut problems experienced by most of the population.

There are many causes, but recent research indicates that dishwasher detergents, particularly rinse aids, may be driving these diseases.

The cell research was carried out at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. This paper was published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

Most common chronic diseases have a major gut element.

“The increased prevalence of chronic inflammatory diseases linked to gut epithelial barrier leakiness has prompted us to investigate the role of extensive use of dishwasher detergents.”

Epithelial cells cover the surfaces of organs and parts of the body.

For example, in the gut, they keep the gut contents out of the rest of the body.

“We investigated the effects of dishwashers rinse agents on cytotoxicity, barrier function, and protein expression in gastrointestinal epithelial cells.”

Cytotoxicity is the ability of a substance to cause the death of cells.

Enterocytic liquid-liquid interfaces are systems used to study the interactions between 2 different liquids.

It allows for studying processes such as nutrient uptake, transport, and barrier function of the epithelial layer.

Transcriptome is a set of RNA molecules a cell or tissue produces.

It can tell us things like how much inflammation a tissue is producing.

“Enterocytic liquid-liquid interfaces were established. Direct cellular cytotoxicity, paracellular flux andRNA-sequencing transcriptome were performed.”

So, this was a high-tech study looking at the effect of dishwasher detergents and rinse aids on the health of gut cells.

The researchers discovered that dishwasher rinse aid was toxic even when massively diluted.

“The observed detergent toxicity was attributed to exposure to rinse aid in a dose-dependent manner up to 1:20,000 v/v dilution.”

The harmful effect of the rinse aid was still present even when it was diluted up to a ratio of 1 part rinse aid to 20,000 parts of water.

Dishwasher rinse aid can have a toxic effect even at very low concentrations.

Rinse aid caused all sorts of damage to gut cells – including damaging the epithelial barrier.

They can cause leaky gut.

“A disrupted epithelial barrier, particularly by rinse aid, was observed in liquid-liquid interface cultures and organoids.”

An organoid is a cell culture system that models the structure and function of an organ.

They are self-organizing into structures that resemble the tissue or organ from which they were derived.

The researchers pinpointed chemicals called alcohol ethoxylates as some of the most toxic ingredients.

“When individual components of the rinse aid were investigated separately, alcohol ethoxylates elicited a strong toxic and barrier-damaging effect.”

Alcohol ethoxylates are chemical compounds commonly used to manufacture detergents and cleaning agents, often listed as “surfactants.”

They are commonly found in rinse aids and may or may not be found in dishwasher detergents or tablets.

RNA analysis showed that these toxins could kill cells and interfere with cell signaling, proliferation, and inflammation.

These detergents may be implicated in inflammatory bowel disease and even cancer.

“RNA-sequencing transcriptome and proteomics data revealed upregulation in cell death, signaling and communication, development, metabolism, proliferation, and immune and inflammatory responses of epithelial cells.”

Many harmful chemicals were found in the detergent residue even after the dishes were washed and ready to use.

This residue can cause harm to the cells lining the gastrointestinal tract and impair their ability to act as a protective barrier.

It’s a very important study. Many people suffer from gastrointestinal problems and cannot identify the root cause.

How many people are suffering gastrointestinal and systemic diseases because of these toxins?

You should always consult your healthcare practitioner for medical diagnosis and treatment guidance.

Help get good erections by cleaning out your gut

There are certain toxins that build up in the gut and leak out into the rest of the body…

They’re called endotoxins and they have a terrible effect on rockiness.

In fact, if your gut is full of endotoxins, you can be sure your penis is too.

And when the penis gets full of endotoxins, blood flow starts suffering… which makes erections suffer too.

Fortunately, it’s very easy to clean the gut and rid the body of these endotoxins.

I’ve made it very simple with my Clean Organ Protocol, free for you today
