Story-At-a-Glance

Hey, Matt Cook here, and listen up, because this is important…

Poor sleep could be putting your heart at risk. Americans are particularly bad at getting enough good quality sleep.

We love to stay up late and burn the candle at both ends.

Here’s how to protect your heart while getting great sleep…

Harry here, and just now, I overhear my wife Susan talking on the phone to her friend, Cindy…

And I hear her say something like: “My legs were shaking, Cindy! I couldn’t even walk.”

And I have no idea what Susan is talking about until I hear her say next:

“Yes, that’s right. With just his fingers! It felt like it lasted for an hour!”

And now I’m smiling, my head is held high, and I have a little skip in my step.

Because now I know Susan is talking about the release I just gave her 10 minutes ago in the laundry room using the Orbiting Pearl.

And trust me — you’re going to want to try this!

Here’s the 30 second release technique that makes your woman literally start craving you

Do this at night to live 12.5 years longer

A new study led by researchers at the University of Sydney…

…has found that not getting enough sleep could lead to between 2 and 7 years worth of heightened heart disease risk and even premature death.

That’s right, your lack of shut-eye could be cutting years off your life! YIKES.

If you want to live a long and healthy life then you should check out the results of this study.

The study looked at data from over 300,000 middle-aged adults.

The researchers found that different disturbances to sleep are…

…associated with different durations of compromised cardiovascular health later in life compared to healthy sleepers.

In particular, men with clinical sleep-related breathing disorders lost nearly seven years of cardiovascular disease-free life compared to those without these conditions, and women lost over seven years. Importantly, even general poor sleep, such as insufficient sleep, insomnia complaints, snoring, going to bed late, and daytime sleepiness is associated with a loss of around two years of normal heart health in men and women.

So, if you’re constantly tossing and turning, or just not getting enough sleep, it’s time to take notice.

These could be warning signs of potential health issues in the future.

Don’t let your sleep habits cut your life short!

Snoring and trouble falling asleep or staying asleep can be a warning sign of potential health issues in the future.

Poor sleep can not only cause a shortening of your lifespan, it can also cause COPD flare ups and atrial fibrillation!

Poor sleep is associated with a significantly increased risk of life-threatening flare-ups in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, according to a new study supported by the National Institutes of Health.

Poor sleep quality appears to be an important risk factor for atrial fibrillation, report scientists in the first study of its kind to demonstrate a relationship between poor sleep quality independent of sleep apnea and a higher risk of atrial fibrillation (AF).

Most people CAN improve their sleep by changing their nighttime and waking habits.

I go over how to do this in detail in my Sleep Transformation.

This study is a wake-up call to take sleep seriously.

It’s time to recognise the importance of sleep as a vital biological function that is just as important as physical activity and nutrition.

So, get some rest and take care of your heart!

“Sleep is a vital biological function that has been under-appreciated in public health policy to date. It’s gratifying that these findings shine a light on the importance of sleep, and the need for it to be recognised as a pillar of good health, alongside physical activity and nutrition. The time is right to ensure that sleep is recognised in public health policy,” said Professor Cistulli.

Overall I believe that it’s extremely important to pay attention to your sleep habits and the quality of your sleep. If you don’t you may end up with health problems down the road that could have been prevented with some shut eye.
