1 essential mineral all men need more of if they want good blood flow

Blood sugar and insulin regulation problems have exploded in the last few decades.

Many people believe this is because people are eating too much sugar.

Of course, if this were true, we wouldn’t have this problem – because people could just simply stop eating so much sugar.

In reality, as sugar consumption goes down, metabolic problems increase…

Of the dietary macronutrients (fat, carbohydrates, sugar, and protein)…

…it is certain types of fat which are the major factor in blood sugar and insulin problems.

But it’s not just macronutrients that play a role here…

micronutrients like potassium have long been known to play a major role in blood sugar control and insulin regulation.

Many people don’t get enough potassium these days…

And it’s borderline criminal how little attention potassium is given in the fight against metabolic disease.

These experiments were carried out at Harvard Medical School and The National Institutes Of Health in Baltimore. The findings were published in Metabolism – Clinical and Experimental.

The relationship between potassium deficiency and insulin/blood sugar problems has been known for a very long time.

What was not clear before this experiment was whether potassium deficiency is the cause of insulin and blood sugar problems

…or whether these things simply went together for some other reason.

“Disturbances in glucose and insulin metabolism frequently accompany a variety of clinical states associated with potassium deficiency.”

Over the years, numerous physicians have argued, for a number of reasons…

…that potassium deficiency is the cause of blood sugar and insulin problems – but other researchers doubted their claims.

“The exact role of the potassium deficit and the mechanism of its effect are in doubt.”

The researchers recruited 7 young healthy men for their experiment.

The men had their blood sugar levels artificially increased by intravenous infusions of glucose/sugar.

This was done under a number of conditions.

The researchers carried out their experiments under normal conditions and again after 1 week of potassium deficiency.

“Potassium deficiency was induced during a seven-day dietary period with negligible potassium alongside the administration of a potassium depleting ‘treatment.’”

Potassium deficiency led to a decreased ability to metabolize glucose.

“We saw a significant decline in the amount of glucose metabolized from pre-to post potassium depletion.”

The same young men had their blood sugar control significantly altered by just a week of potassium depletion.

One of the reasons for this was that the men were not producing as much insulin in response to high blood sugar.

The artificially induced hyperglycemia led to lower levels of insulin when the men were potassium deficient.

“This decline in carbohydrate tolerance was associated with a significant decrease in blood insulin in response to hyperglycemia.”

Simply not having enough potassium meant that these young healthy men were unable to produce enough insulin.

The researchers assessed the degree of potassium deficiency in all of the men.

They found that those with a greater degree of potassium deficiency had greater metabolic problems.

“The degree of potassium depletion correlated with the decrease in insulin response.”

Potassium is a major player in metabolic disease.

Many people don’t get enough, and this could have significant effects on their ability to control blood sugar and produce insulin.

“This study demonstrates that potassium depletion causes glucose intolerance, which is associated with impaired insulin secretion.”

More than that, since this study has been done, other research has shown that potassium itself helps cells to absorb sugar…

…completely independently of the effect of insulin.

Insulin is normally said to be the only or major factor in sugar uptake by the cells – but that’s not true.

The increase in dietary fat over recent decades, along with consumption of highly refined carbohydrates which do not have much potassium…

…are the major players in metabolic disease.

But it’s quite easy to get a lot of potassium in your diet.

Fruit and dairy are great healthy options for increasing your potassium intake.

In particular, orange juice and milk are great sources of this essential nutrient.

This fruity shake contains potassium and 4 other nutrients for better penile blood flow

Did you know? Potassium helps the body control sodium levels, which has a BIG effect on penile blood flow.

Too much sodium leads to inflammation of the blood vessels where they lose their flexibility and become narrow…

And blood flow suffers, which makes erections suffer…

And that’s why potassium is so useful — it makes the body get rid of the extra sodium, so the inflammation goes away…

And potassium improves blood flow by easing the tension in your blood vessel walls.

So now the vessels are wide open for lots of blood to flow through, especially down there!

Here’s my fruity shake containing potassium and 4 other key ingredients for better penile blood flow
