Letting light control your libido?
Humans are extremely light sensitive animals.
Our skin and our eyes take in light signals all day long – and we use these signals to control daily and seasonal hormonal patterns.
You probably won’t be surprised to know that researchers have proven that sex drive is higher in the summer.
People get more light exposure and sex hormones increase.
But that’s not all we know about life and sex drive…
In fact, researchers have uncovered the hormonal drivers of light-induced sexuality.
More importantly, researchers have found that light therapy can improve libido and increase testosterone levels.
This is critical information men need to know for winter!
This human study was carried out at the University of Siena in Italy.
The findings were presented to the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology Congress in Vienna.
We’ve known for a long time that most animals are more sexually active in the summer – this includes humans.
In recent years we found that this effect has to do with how light affects the eye and interacts with other internal organs.
“Seasonal trends are shown significant influence on sexual function and the pineal gland plays a key role in the endocrine control of sexual activity.”
The pineal gland receives a lot of signals from the eye – the eye is the controller of the pineal gland in some sense.
And light which reaches the eye influences how much melatonin the pineal gland produces.
Melatonin is a hormone that makes you sleepy when it’s dark.
“The nervous system carries information on light/dark cycles from the eye to the pineal gland which controls the production of melatonin.”
Darkness increases melatonin. But melatonin also affects other hormones. Interestingly, melatonin increases prolactin.
Prolactin is a hormone which lowers male libido.
Men with higher levels of prolactin tend to have poor rockiness, premature ejaculation, and much lower interest in sex in general.
This study was designed to see whether light could reduce melatonin, leading to lower prolactin and increased sex drive.
The researchers recruited 38 men with very low sex drive.
“We recruited a sample of 38 subjects among outpatients on the basis of the diagnosis of primary hypoactive sexual desire disorder and sexual arousal disorder.”
The participants were split into 2 different groups. One group received a bright light treatment for 2 weeks.
“The light therapy consisted of a daily exposure to a white fluorescent light box (Super-Lite 3S) for 30 minutes as soon as possible after waking.”
The men were exposed to this bright line for half an hour every morning in order to simulate bright morning sunlight.
It’s something which has been used very effectively to treat altered sleep patterns and seasonal affective disorder.
The researchers believe that this bright pulse of light at the right time could reset the hormones which were killing libido.
The men in the control group also went through a light therapy treatment…
But their light exposure was very low at 100 lux compared to 10,000 lx in the active therapy group.
Libido and testosterone levels were similar in both groups at the start of the study.
Sexual satisfaction massively increased after only 2 weeks of light therapy.
The men become much more interested in sex.
“After 2 weeks of light therapy we found a significant improvement in sexual satisfaction in the treated group with approximately 3 times higher scores than those receiving the placebo.”
A bright light for 30 minutes in the morning massively increased sex drive in just 2 weeks.
The researchers also found a massive increase in testosterone levels in the men undergoing bright light therapy.
“Testosterone levels at baseline were 2.1 on average, after 2 weeks they rose to 3.6.”
That’s a massive increase in testosterone.
The study shows that 30 minutes of light therapy per day could increase T levels in winter to those experienced during the height of summer.
There were no significant changes in testosterone in men undergoing low light placebo therapy.
The researchers believe the increase in libido could be due to knock-on effects of light on the pineal gland, melatonin and prolactin.
—-Important Message About Attracting Women—-
This spikes HER arousal, so SHE makes the first move
The best way to woo a hot girl is to be nice to her, even act like her BFF…
…crossing your fingers, hoping to strike lucky in some rare moment of fortune…
Obviously, that’s all WRONG.
Life’s too short — hope is not a strategy.
The real secret to tempt a woman into the sack is to get her AROUSED.
Because arousal trumps attraction.
Trust me, I know.
I’ve shown this same method to men who have been bedding models, international celebrities, and hot cheerleaders.
So, rather than trying (and failing) to make her like you, all you REALLY have to do is trigger arousal so intense…
…she’ll be throwing herself at you like a horny St. Trinians dropout.
Just apply this simple method to trigger her arousal…
